1909
Opening of the Hotel Seefeld The Hotel Seefeld was famous far beyond the confines of Switzerland for its excellent cuisine and exquisite location.
During the Second World War it played host to illustrious guests.

1972
The ELVIA Group buys the hotel.

1974-1976
Renovation of The Hotel Seefeld and today’s central block equipped  with meeting rooms.
Thirty rooms are also added to the existing hotel building.

1989
Construction of the east block with the restaurant and twenty rooms.

1990
The Hotel Seefeld becomes the SeminarHotel am Ägerisee

1996-1998
Construction of the new block with 19 double rooms, two meeting rooms and twenty underground garage spaces; the garden, Wiler Bar and rooms are renovated.

2000-2001
Redevelopment of the restaurant and reception.

2003-2004
Renovation of the single rooms and the bathrooms; new bar and restaurant terrace.

2004
Certification according to ISO standard 9001:2000

2005 - High water and marquee bar
The high water of 22 August 2005 floods the whole of the basementlevel and causes ten million francs worth of damage.
The hotel remains closed for the reconstruction until mid-October. The Wiler Bar resumes operation in the marquee bar, whilst the relaxation area remains closed until the beginning of March 2006.

2006
Opening of the completely renovated relaxation area and the newly designed Wiler Bar. Allianz Suisse sells the SeminarHotel to Mr Günter Zobel.

2007
Opening of the winter garden in the Seefeld Restaurant.

2009
Extension of the winter garden/lounge and expansion of the garden terrace.

2011
Renovation of the single rooms.

2014
Addition of eleven new superior rooms in a neighbouring building.

2015
Renovation of the Hotel Lobby and the Forum.

2016
Renovation of 40 bedrooms
